The borough of Cheltenham also has schools of national reputation - Cheltenham College and Cheltenham Ladies college.

Transport Transport links from Cheltenham are excellent. There are regular local bus services to and from town, good rail-links to London from the town's railway station and junction 11 of the M5 motorway linking to Wales and the West in one direction and the Midlands in the other is just a few minutes drive away.
Leisure The town is probably the festival capital of the UK. There are the Music and Literature festivals and most famous of all, The National Hunt Festival which stages one of horse racing's premier events, The Cheltenham Gold Cup. This takes place every March on the town's legendary Prestbury racecourse on the edge of the town which has also been developed into a major conference facility and entertainment venue.
